The Megarecorder Mini and Micro video recorders are designed for use with any ip camera and are about the size of a mole. They are so small, that some customers use them like a Micro Netbook. 1) What’s Gotcha! View ?
Gotcha! View is the innovative software for Symbian 3G mobile phone to view the video of Gotcha! cameras by camera ID and password. No public IP address is needed for the IP camera, no port mapping or DDNS are required for router configuration. Just key in the ID/password of the IP camera is enough to see the video from your mobile phone or PDA anywhere, anytime.
2) Request downloadable software from your Gotcha! representative
3) How to install Gotcha! View on Symbian S 60 operating system:
A. Set up your phone to accept both unsigned and signed applications. Go to menu -> settings -> Applications -> App. Manager and set “Software installation” item to “All” instead of “Signed only”. Also, turn off the “Online certificate check”.
B. Download Gotcha! View.sisx directly from the browser of your mobile phone
C. Or download Gotcha! View.sisx to the notebook or desktop computer, and then transfer Gotcha! View.sisx to your mobile phone by using USB cable or Bluetooth or Infrared.
D. On your mobile phone, go to the place where you saved the Gotcha! View.sisx and click on it to start the installation.
E. Ignore the security warning and choose continue to finish the installation.
4) How to use Gotcha! View
First, start up the Gotcha! View program from Menu->Applications(->My own)->Gotcha! View. Then, do the following steps.
A. Add a camera
A-1.Click Menu -> Add.
A-2.Enter the CamID and Password of the IP camera and give a name for this camera and click OK.
B. Play video
B-1. Verify that your Mobile device can connect to internet through 3GPP or WiFi. The settings under Options -> Player settings->Internet access point should be the same.
B-2. Select and click the added camera item to connect to the IP camera.
B-3. Once the connection is established, Gotcha! View will invoke the built-in streaming player to play the video.
B-4. For our Indoor cabled/wireless pan/tilt IP dome camera, you can press the left/right and up/down arrow keys to do the pan/tilt movement remotely from your portable device.
C. Change video settings
C-1. Click Menu -> Video settings on the camera item.
C-2. The current video settings will be displayed. Change the settings as you want. Then click Set key and enter the admin username and admin password to update the settings.
D. Delete the camera
D-1. Click Menu -> Delete on the camera item that you want to delete.
E. Exit the Gotcha! View application.
E-1. Click Exit to exit Gotcha! ,View video.
5) Usage limitations :
The Gotcha! View only runs on the Mobile phone with Symbian S60 3rd Edition that has 3GPP ability and only works with HiDefcctv Gotcha! cameras.
6) Future roadmap :
The Gotcha! View can only run on 3G mobile phones or PDA phones with Symbian S60 OS and Windows mobile based Pocket PC OS now. The iPhone version will be available soon.

GOTCHA WINDOWS MOBILE
1. How to install Gotcha! View on Windows Mobile :
1-A. Contact your Gotcha representative to download Gotcha!View.cab directly from the browser of your mobile phone.
1-B. Or download Gotcha! View.cab to the notebook or desktop computer, and then transfer Gotcha! View.cab to your mobile phone by using USB cable or Bluetooth or Infrared if you download it from your PC.
1-C. On your mobile phone, go to the place where you saved the Gotcha! View.cab and click on it to start the installation.
1-D. Ignore the unknown publisher warning and choose yes to finish the installation.
2. Download Windows Gotcha! mobile software.
3. How to install Gotcha! View on Windows Mobile :
3-A. Download Gotcha! View.cab directly from the browser of your mobile phone.
3-B. Or download Gotcha! View.cab to the notebook or desktop computer, and then transfer Gotcha! View.cab to your mobile phone by using USB cable or Bluetooth or Infrared if you download it from your PC.
3-C. On your mobile phone, go to the place where you saved the Gotcha! View.cab and click on it to start the installation.
3-D. Ignore the unknown publisher warning and choose yes to finish the installation.
4- How to use Gotcha! View :
First, start up the Gotcha! View program from Start -> Programs -> Gotcha! View. Then, doing the following steps.
A. Add a camera
A-1. Either click Options -> Add or right click on the screen and click Add.
A-2. Enter the CamID and Password of the IP camera and give a name for this camera and click OK button.
B. Play the video
B-1. Make sure the Mobile can connect to internet through 3GPP.
B-2. Double click on the camera item to connect to the IP camera.
B-3. Once the connection has been established, Gotcha! View invokes the built-in streaming player to play the video.
B-4. For pan/tilt type IP camera, you can press the left/right and up/down buttons to do the pan/tilt movement.
C. Change the video settings
C-1. Right click on the camera item and choose Video settings.
C-2. The current video settings will be displayed and change the settings as you want. Then click Update button and enter the admin username and admin password to update the settings.
D. Delete the camera
D-1. Right click on the camera item and choose Delete.
E. Exit the Gotcha! View
E-1. To be noticed, the X button in the upper-right corner is a minimize button, not an exit button. To exit the Gotcha! View correctly, please click on the Exit button in the bottom-right corner.
E-2. If the Gotcha! View is minimized, you can get Gotcha! View back to maximized state by starting Gotcha! View again. If that does not work, please go to Start -> Settings -> System tab -> Memory (or Task Manager) and double click on Gotcha! View to get it back maximized.
5. Usage limitations :
The Gotcha ! View only runs on the Mobile phone or PDA with Windows Mobile based Pocket PC OS that has 3GPP ability and only works for Gotcha! View cameras. This Trial version has the following limitations :
A. Expires at the end of year 2009
B. Allow only 3 camera listings.
C. Limited viewing time - 25 seconds.
6. Future roadmap :
The Gotcha! View can only run on the 3G mobile phones or PDA phones listed on this site.
The iPhone 3G, 3GS and Ipod Touch version is now available !
